Background-

Tiger Marketing founder Louise Stevenson took home Silver in the Business Owner of the Year category at the 2026 National Business Women’s Awards.

The awards celebrate women who have made a mark through business and leadership, and this year’s category alone pulled in hundreds of entries before a final 12 were shortlisted.

The win means more to Stevenson than most. Earlier this year she had a total hip replacement and spent several weeks working through a difficult recovery.

She had barely found her footing when her father passed away unexpectedly in the weeks that followed. Getting to the awards stage was not something she saw coming, let alone leaving with a medal.

Stevenson runs Tiger Marketing as a small boutique operation out of Worthing. Going up against entrants from across the country and finishing on the podium puts her firm in the same conversation as businesses with far greater resources and longer track records on the national circuit. That a small agency from Worthing made the final shortlist at all speaks to the ground Stevenson has covered since starting the business.

The National Business Women’s Awards pull entries from across England every year, covering everything from retail and finance to creative services and professional industries. For business owners outside London, the event carries real weight as one of the few national stages where smaller firms get a genuine shot at recognition.

Stevenson’s silver adds her name to a list of winners who built something from the ground up before anyone outside their local market was paying attention.
