Background-
Pradeep Chaurasiya has stepped into the role of Business Head of Africa for International Business at TVS Motor Company, where he now runs operations across more than 50 African countries.
The move opens a new chapter in his eight-year career with the motorcycle maker. He began by managing business in one African country and now guides the company’s presence across the continent.
Chaurasiya announced the role and looked back on his years in Africa. He said he started with TVS in one country and now feels privileged to lead the company’s journey across a continent of more than 50 countries.
He said Africa is many markets, each with its own people, culture and way of doing business, so market-specific approaches work better than one uniform strategy.
His remit covers markets such as Kenya, where motorcycles support public transport, delivery services and other income-generating work.
Chaurasiya said his time on the continent taught him the value of experimentation, adaptability and learning from every experience as he shaped business strategies. He thanked customers, distributors, business partners and employees for TVS’s growth in Africa. He said distributors and partners helped strengthen the brand in different markets, while customer trust stays at the center of operations. He credited colleagues and mentors for supporting his growth over eight years.
Looking ahead, he plans to build on existing business relationships and explore new opportunities across African markets with humility, listening and the same spirit of experimentation.
