Tech First Gulf has appointed Mustapha Rafiki as General Manager for the Maghreb and Francophone Africa, bringing nearly two decades of technology industry experience to a company expanding its footprint across the continent.
Tech First Gulf, a value-added technology distributor operating across the Middle East, India and Africa, confirmed the appointment and said Rafiki will focus on expanding its reseller network, developing technology alliances and strengthening distribution partners’ skills across the region.
Rafiki’s career has centered on sales, distribution and partner networks in African technology markets. Before joining TFG, he served as Head of B2B Africa at Logitech, leading commercial operations across multiple African markets and building relationships with distributors and resellers.
Earlier, he worked as Country Manager at Canon, expanding the brand’s presence and growing its business among commercial and enterprise customers. His experience covers North, West, East and Central Africa, and TFG credits him with building partner ecosystems and driving business growth across those markets.
Announcing his new role, Rafiki called the move a new chapter after 19 years in the technology industry and said he aims to build, lead and create value for partners across the region. TFG plans to deepen ties with global technology manufacturers and software companies while tailoring solutions to emerging markets.
Akashdeep Singh, TFG’s Chief Strategy Officer, said Rafiki’s regional experience and understanding of local market dynamics would help the company grow its presence and strengthen relationships with customers and partners. Rafiki said he looks forward to working with TFG’s vendors, resellers and customers as it pursues its next stage of regional growth.
